Turn 6 : Training for the Holy War Cup begins! Amano Gouda VS Furido Akane!

All right! Has been quite a long time since the last episode! Well in Turn 5, our heroes manage to form up a team called [Fated Bonds] with Shinozaki Masato as the leader of the team. With their team being registered and the holidays of their school semester coming. It seems that our heroes are set on this great tournament! Well what else is going to happen? Lets see then! Turn 6! Duel!

Ding Ding Ding Ding! Rings the school bell of the Domino Duel High School. This signals the end of lessons and the start of a Dueling paradise! 17 year old Yuki Juten then met up with Amano Gouda to head over towards the Underground Facility for their usual Dueling Time. However when they reached the facility....

??? : ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

That was the sound of a duelist that has been defeated by....

Masato: Yo!

Juten: Eh? Hey Masato! Looks like you've just finished a duel!

Masato: Well, yeap.

And Masato then jumped off the arena and headed over to Juten's side.

Gouda: Hi ya Masato, has been awhile hasn't it?

Masato: Yes guys. Been awhile since we've formed up our teams. Ever since that, everyone has either been busy with their personal life, or their studies. And so because of that, we hadn't had a chance to practice dueling with each other. In order to know our various strengths and weakness.

Juten: And what is actually the usefullness of dueling against each other in the team?

Masato: Well in the Holy War Cup, the tournament format is this. We have to send 3 teammates to represent our team in a match. And we would also have to set up the order in who is the first teammate to be dueling against our opponent. So the training is essential.

Gouda: I see... Guess you guys will not be able to see my strengths at all... Only my weaknesses...

Juten: Hey Gouda! Don't be too upset okay? As long as you keep training and believing in the heart of the cards like the legendary Yugi-san.. I'm sure you'll be able to improve!

Gouda: Okay Juten!

Juten: Alright! Then Gouda! Your first opponent for training today will be me! Hahahahahahahahaha!

Masato: =.="

In the next day, the whole team met up to have a practice match... Gouda tried his hardest to modify his deck with the latest rare cards in order to be able to match in strength for the practice duel against his teammates. After modifying, he then hurried off to the meeting point, the underground facility...

Akane: Hey Gouda! You sure is late today!

Gouda: Uh oh... I'm sorry Akane...

Akane: The others are already having duel training already! Looks like your opponent for today will be me then!

Gouda: Oh okay! (Masato once mentioned that she has a Clan deck... But she is still a girl.. So perhaps there shouldn't be any problems for this practice match.. Alright then!)

Akane: Do not underestimate me Gouda. Even though I am a girl.

Gouda: Uh... Sure Akane...

Akane & Gouda: DUEL!

Akane: Well ladies first right? Its my turn! Draw! I summon, [Watchkeeper of Mist Valley] in face-up defense position! I set one reverse card and end my turn! Its your turn Gouda! Show me what you got!

Mist descended from the skies and circles around Akane, which then appeared inside it, was a hooded man.

Gouda: Alright! Its my turn! Draw! I summon! [Gearfried the Iron Knight] in attack position! I then activate the magic card! [Release Restraint]! This allows me to release [Gearfriend the Iron Knight] in order to special summon..... [Gearfried the Swordmaster] from my hand or deck! I special summon! [Gearfried the Swordmaster] from my deck! COME ON! GEARFRIED!

The armoured Gearfried began to detach his armor one by one due to the effects of [Release Restraint] and when his armor was fully detached from him. There stood a magnificent warrior. The released form of Gearfried.

Gouda: Heh! Alright Akane! This is my deck's strongest monster! But of course! Without the luck that I have today, I wouldn't have been abled to summon him onto the field! Now its showtime! I activated from my hand! Equipment magic card! [Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade]! And the equipment target is of course... [Gearfried the Swordmaster]! This increases his attack strength by 300 points! (2600 - 2900)

Gouda: And then.... The effects of Gearfried is activated! Whenever a equipment magic card is equipped onto Gearfried, I am able to destroy one monster on the opponent's side of the field! I select [Watchkeeper of Mist Valley] as the destruction target! There goes your monster Akane!

Akane: Not so fast Gouda! I told ya not to underestimate me even though I am a girl! Reverse card.. OPEN! [My Body As A Shield]! By paying 1500 lifepoints(8000-1500=6500), I am able to negate and destroy an effect that destroys monster cards on my side of the field! Gearfried's effect is negated and destroyed!

Gearfried recieved a bolt from the skies, striking him down and destroying him into nothingless.

Gouda: No! Gearfried! Ugh.... I set one reverse card and end my turn!

Akane: Heh... Gouda... This was a nice practice match!

Gouda: What do you mean by... "was"?

Akane: Because all will be over in my turn!

Gouda: What?!

Akane: Its my turn! Draw! I activate magic card! [Arms Hole]! By sending the top card of my deck to the graveyard as a cost to activate this card, I am able to search from my deck or my graveyard, an equipment magic card and add it to my hand! I send [Medicine Man of Mist Valley] to the graveyard and I search from my deck, the equipment magic card [Megamorph]! And then from my hand, I activate the magic card, [Monster Reborn]! The selected target to be revived is, of course....Tuner Monster! [Medicine Man of Mist Valley]!

Mist once again descended from the skies, shrouding Akane, and from it, emerged the Medicine Man of Mist Valley.

Akane: Thats right Gouda! But first, I activate from my hand! Quick-play magic card [Cyclone]! This allows me to destroy one magic or trap card on the field, the card I select is your set card Gouda!

Gouda: No! Argh!

Gouda's set [Bottomless Trap Hole] was then destroyed by Akane's [Cyclone].

Akane: Alright! Now this is really showtime! Medicine Man of Mist Valley and Watchkeeper of Mist Valley Tuning!

Protected by the Divine Mist for Centuries, Unshroud the Ferocity within! SYNCHRO SUMMON! LIGHTNING GOD OGRE OF MIST VALLEY!

Thick Mist rised from the ground, and lightning struck the heart of the mist, which emerged from it was the Lightning God Ogre of Mist Valley!

Akane: I set one reverse card, and I activate the effect of Lightning God Ogre! By returning one card that I control back to my hand, Lightning God Ogre's attack will be increased by 500 points!(2600+500=3100)

Gouda: Even so....

Akane: Not yet! Remember the equipment magic that I searched for just now Gouda? I activate Equipment Magic! MEGAMORPH! This doubles the original attack strength of the equipped monster if my lifepoints is lower than the opponent's lifepoints! I equip upon Lightning God Ogre! (3100+2600 = 5700)

Gouda: 5700 attack points?! Even so! You are still 2300 points away from defeating me in this turn Akane!

Akane: Heh, I knew this was going to happen.

Gouda: What was?

Akane: Quickplay magic card activate! Divine Mist Cloak! By paying lifepoints x 100, I am able to increase one [Mist Valley] monster I control, the attack equal to the amount that I have paid! I pay 2300 of my lifepoints! (6500-2300 = 4200)

After paying her lifepoints, Lightning God Ogre's attack then increased to an exact amount of 8000 attack strength!

Gouda: This.... This... Is... INSANE!

Akane: I already told you Gouda, do not underestimate me even though I am a girl! Attack! Lightning God Ogre of Mist Valley! Kaminari Strike!

With its fists held up, Lightning God Ogre then summoned bolts of lightning. And with its fists flashed down onto Gouda, the bolts of lightning followed, striking Gouda.

Gouda: Argh!!!!!!

And Gouda's lifepoints dropped to 0.

Gouda: This is... a... one turn kill? Ugh..

Akane: Gouda? Hey Gouda!!!!

Turn 5 : Dave's Reminiscence of the Past. Reasons Revealed!

In the last episode, our hero Yuki Juten defeated Dave Frostskies in a duel. And Dave fell unconscious after that. Which the rest went to help him up and sent him to his room to rest. So what will happen in this episode? Lets find out! Turn 5! Duel!

Dave Frostskies: Syncro Summon! Brionac - Dragon Of The Ice Boundary!

?????: Oh no.. I lost again... Sob sob.. Big Brother is always bullying me!

Dave Frostskies: Haha! You need to have better control of your deck Kelly. Thats why you need more practise against your big brother's deck! Which is my deck! Hahaha!

Kelly Frostskies: Sob sob... But big brother is too hard to win against!

Dave Frostskies: Nothing is impossible Kelly! If you work hard enough, one day you will be able to defeat me! Okay? My cute little sister~ ^_^

Kelly Frostskies: *sniff sniff* Okay Big Brother! Lets do it again!

Both: Duel! Hahahaha!

This is a dream of Dave's past. When he was just a little boy, he was playing Duel monsters with his younger sister Kelly Frostskies. There was lots of laughter and joy around. But until one day...

Kelly Frostskies: Okay big brother! This is it! ........ Ahhhhh!!!

Dave Frostskies: KELLY!

A tall man wearing a black suit and sunglasses(like MIB) grabbed Kelly away, when the siblings were playing cards at a nearby playground. Dave saw infront of his eyes, how his sister was being taken away. Dave tried to pursue the man in black suit, upon letting his sister go. But he was given a hit on his head. Thus he fell unconscious... With his blurry vision, he saw his sister being forcefully placed inside a black car. And with her calling out to him his name... He fell...

Dave Frostskies: NOOOOO!

In this instance, Dave woke up from his sleep. Breathing in and out quickly.. And by using his hands, he clutched his hair up and his eyes wide opened. Images of his sister's abduction keeps appearing in his mind. Which causes his tears to keep rolling down his cheeks. He clutched his hair even more.. And blaming himself for his sister's abduction. He eventually, fell victim to the night and slept.

As for the rest of the gang, together with Juten. Stayed overnight at the Frostskies' Residence. As freeloaders of course. They slept in the guest room, perfectly furnished with top class furniture and beds.

Akane: Juten~~ Oh Juten~~~ Its time to wake up~~~

Yuki Juten: *yawn* Five more minutes....

*BAM!*

Akane raised her legs and gave a down kick onto Juten's stomach.

Yuki Juten: EEEEYOOOOWWWWCCCCHHH! I'm so sorry Akane! I'm awake now!

Akane: Good that you know! Hmph!

Dave's Butler came in suddenly and greeted the gang.

Butler: Good morning, aquaintances of Young master. Please head down to the dining hall to have your breakfast.

The gang then left the guest room and headed downstairs towards the dining hall. To have their breakfast, and on the way...

Gouda: Uh Juten? Are we really friends of Dave?

Yuki Juten: Well... The butler did said "Aquaintances" right?

Masato: Well, "Aquaintances" does not mean friends too Juten.

Yuki Juten: =_="... Okay I guess so, after all.. Everything has been rough!

Akane: Well something good may happen. So lets hope for it!

When the gang reached the dining hall. They were greeted by the vast amount of amazingly delicious food. Although it was all in the western style of cooking. And the dining hall was also very big. Beautifully decorated with the finest paintings and decorations.

Yuki Juten: Alright people! LETS EAT!

All: ALRIGHT!

The gang dived into the meal and started to devour everything. Which then Dave Frostskies came down from the spiral staircase. And started to sit down at his seat. Looking at everyone, he started to dine on his own meal too.

Yuki Juten: Hey Dave... Sorry about yesterday... I was a little too rough on ya..

Dave Frostskies: Heh.. No need to concern yourself with such matters! It was a nice match.

Yuki Juten: Wow? You really seem like a different person from yesterday! There isn't any cold expressions on your face already!

Dave Frostskies: I've rethink about yesterday... Yes duel monsters have important meanings... But no fun should be deprived from me because of that. I thank you. Yuki Juten.

Yuki Juten: Hey hey! I didn't do that much! You played really well yesterday too!

Masato: In anycase. Dave Frostskies, I hereby invite you to join our team for the Holy War Cup.

Dave Frostskies: I have already known about the invitation. And I too, was going to form a team of my own. To head over to the Holy War Cup.. because someone very important to me is waiting there...

Masato: Someone important? What ever do you mean Dave?

Dave Frostskies: My younger sister, she was abducted by some organisation when I was only 10 years old. And she was 8 years old only then.

Masato: And what makes you think that she is there?

Dave Frostskies: I hired some PIs to track her down. This is her picture that they've taken of.

The gang looked at the photos of Dave's sister that he threw down onto the dining table. She wore a spiky black suit and had yellow blond hair. Just alot longer than Dave's. Her eyes looked dark and souless. And there an evil feeling about her.

Masato: Isn't that... The famous [Worm] deck duelist? Of the team.... "Ruthless Denial"

Gouda: That is... an unbeatable team in Italy!

Dave Frostskies: That is my sister, Kelly Frostskies. And I will want to get her back no matter what happens. She is my sister, my one and only sister. I do hope that all of you will be able to help me... To accomplish this..

Yuki Juten stood up from his seat suddenly after hearing Dave's words.

Yuki Juten: Of course! We will help you out for sure!

Masato: I guess that is decided then! Okay! Now let me announce the team member for the team.

Masato then took out a piece of paper and read of the names of the people inside the team.

Masato: The members and their decks will be... Shinozaki Masato with my [X-Saber] deck, Yuki Juten with your [Flamebell] deck, Dave Frostskies with your [Ice Boundary] deck, Amano Gouda with your [Beatdown] deck and finally...Furido Akane! With your [Mist Valley] deck!

Akane: Huh? Wait! I did not say that I agreed to this! And.... Shinozaki Masato.. However did you know that I own a Clan deck?

Masato: Checks have to be done in order to get the best players in the team. Even if I have to do underhanded measures. I've known about you even before I know about Juten. Hmph *smiles*

Akane: Why you.... *stares with angry eyes*

Yuki Juten: Hey Masato! That is really wrong of you to be doing that you know?

Akane: Its okay Juten... Okay Masato, I will join the team.

Masato: Great! Looks like the team is complete!

Gouda: Um... Masato? Can I ask you something?

Masato: Yes sure Gouda. What is it?

Gouda: Why am I in the team? I'm not even strong... I'm a duelist that is repeatly thrashed by even normal duelists in school... I don't have the qualifications to join the team..

Masato: True strength will come when You've reached a point of no return. This team and the Holy War Cup will be your point of no return. Do your best Gouda. I do not make wrong Judgments.

Gouda: Thanks Masato... For believing in me.. I'll do my best to train hard for the Holy War Cup!

Masato: Good, do your best but do not strain yourself. Ok team! Lets decide on a team name!

Yuki Juten: Hmmmmm.. We've come a long way in order to create this team... The name has to be... Uh.... Team Togetherness?

*Bam!*

Akane: Juten! Stop giving such lame names! Or'll you'll fall victim to my kicks!

Yuki Juten: Ugh.... Ok I'm sorry Akane! Lets think of another name..

Dave Frostskies: We were brought together by fate. But I agree with Akane, Team Togetherness really sounds very lame. Juten has really very bad taste!

Gouda: Well... True... He always does..

*Bam!*

Yuki Juten: What did you say?! Gouda?!

Gouda: Oh noes! I'm sorry Juten-sama!

Butler: How about for me to have a say in this Young Master and his friends?

Dave Frostskies: I do not mind. How about all of you? Would you mind if my Butler gave some suggestions?

Masato: I do not mind, as the older generations are wiser and would have more ideas. Sure! What do you have in mind sir?

Butler: I am thinking, how about giving the name.. Fated Bonds as the team name? Since all of you are brought together by fate. And having a bond between all of you all in the team is important. So what do you think? *cough cough*

Masato: I think that sounds fantastic! As expected from a oldie like sir yourself. I do not mind the name. How about the rest? *smiles*

Dave Frostskies: I think it sounds great too! Good work butler!

Yuki Juten: It sounds deep but.. It also sounds cool! I'm all out for it!

Akane: I totally agree with Juten! *winks*

Gouda: Same here!

Masato: Okay! From this moment on, our team name will be known as... "Fated Bonds"!

All: Alright! Fated Bonds!

Turn 4 : True Battle Of The Heart! Yuki Juten VS Dave Frostskies!

In the previous episode. Our hero Yuki Juten finally found the answer to his doubts. The true meaning of dueling. Which then he and his friends, as well as his mother. Modified his deck for him, to prepare him to duel against Dave Frostskies again. After that, they went to the Frostskies' residence and once again confronted Dave. What will happen then? Who will win in this duel? Lets find out! Turn 4! Duel!

Both Yuki Juten and Dave Frostskies took their stance. Which both their duel disks transformed into battle mode and they both drew 5 cards from their deck. And Juten was the first to start the duel.

Yuki Juten & Dave Frostskies: DUEL!

Yuki Juten's Hand: Flamebell Dragunov, Rising Energy, Flamebell's Volcanic Barrier, Treasure of Flamebell and Flame God's Judgment.

Dave Frostskies' Hand: Blizzard Warrior , Blizzard Dragon, Blizzd-Guard of the Ice Boundary, Memories of the Frost and Ice Boundary Wall.

Yuki Juten:(The legendary [Flame God's Judgement]! Alright!) I'll fire up the duel first! My turn! Draw! I activate the [Treasure of Flamebell]! This card allows me to draw 3 cards from my deck! Which I will need to remove a [Flamebell] monster away from the game in my hand , or else I will recieve 2000 points of damage to my lifepoints. And I will also have to discard my whole hand. Draw!

Juten drew Flamebell Dragon - Nova, Flamebell Paun and Flamebell Serpent.

Yuki Juten: I remove away from the game! Flamebell Paun in my hand! In order not to recieve the negative effects of [Treasure of Flamebell] ! I summon! [Flamebell Dragunov] in face-up attack position! Which then I set 2 face down cards and end my turn! Your go Dave!

Flamebell Dragunov rised from the flames and stood infront of Juten. With its mouth wide open and flames gushing out.

Dave Frostskies: Draw. Hmph... This is just like history repeating itself. I summon, Blizzard Warrior in attack position! Battle... Blizzard Warrior! Attack Flamebell Dragunov!

A warrior of ice jumped onto the arena and holding onto its dual pointed blade. It rushed towards Flamebell Dragunov.

Yuki Juten: I discard one card from my hand! Reverse card.. Open! Rising Energy! By discarding one card from my hand to activate this card. I then select one monster on my field. The selected monster will have its attack increased by 1500 points until the end of the turn! I select Flamebell Dragunov!

Flamebell Dragunov recieved a tremendous energy from the trap card [Rising Energy] and then flew up in a rage. Shooting fireballs at Blizzard Warrior as a counterattack. Blizzard Warrior dodge a few fireballs, but was caught in the last one and was destroyed. And since Dragunov's attack increased to 2600 and Blizzard Warrior was destroyed by Dragunov. Dave will receive 1200 points of damage to his lifepoints! (8000-6800)

Dave Frostskies: In this instance. I activate a Quick-play magic card from my hand. Shard of the Ice Boundary! Whenever a Water Attribute monster on my field is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the graveyard. I am able to special summon one [Ice Boundary] monster from my hand. And then destroy the monster that destroyed my Water Attribute monster. I summon, Blizzd-Guard of the Ice Boundary in face-up defense position! And I select Dragunov as a target to be destroyed!

The blue bird once again flew down from the skies and shielded Dave, while suddenly. Dragunov was being shot by incoming ice shards. Smoke arised after the impact and what was revealed was a frozen Dragunov. Which then it exploded and Dragunov was destroyed! However in this case, Dragunov's effect to deal 500 points of damage to the opponent is unable to be activated because it was not destroyed by battle.

Yuki Juten: Dragunov! Argh... Its effect cannot be activated.

Dave Frostskies: Hmph. Seems that you've improved Juten. But still, you will not be able to defeat me.

Yuki Juten: It is true that I've lost to you once Dave Frostskies. But then after the lost. I've once again found out the true meaning of a duel. And by using that meaning, I will defeat you!

Dave Frostskies: Come and try it if you can. I will assure you total defeat.

Akane: You are just a jerk Dave! If you told Juten to find out the true meaning of dueling. Then what is your resolution of a duel?!

Dave Frostskies: .............. Lets carry on with the duel.

Akane: Having no answers? It must be that you do not have even a meaning for a duel! You are just a guy with cold expressions!

Yuki Juten: Akane....

Dave Frostskies: What does a girl like you know about me? You do not even know what I've been through, and here you are blabbering away about the true meaning of a duel. I duel to protect and to search for something important deep inside my heart. Because I've went through things that all of you here can never imagine!

Yuki Juten: Dave, my resolve for a duel is also to protect the people around me. Looks like we are the same huh?

Dave Frostskies: Never compare me with a country buffoon like yourself. I am of a higher rank than anyone of you here! I am a Frostskies! My meaning is absolute! And of no duplicates! I activate magic card! Ice Boundary Wall! Come on Juten. Its your turn!

Akane: Yuki Juten! You'd better thrash him really hard! Don't disappoint me!

Yuki Juten: *smiles* Alright Akane! Its my turn Dave! Draw! During my standby phase, the monster card [Flamebell Serpent] activates! While this card is inside my graveyard, I am able to special summon it onto my side of the field! However this card cannot be released for an advance summon of a monster! Come on! Flamebell Serpent!

A snake like monster being shrouded with flames rised up. And circling around a small portion of the arena. Which then it sat straight up. With devilish eyes looking at Dave.

If this card is removed from the field after being special summoned by this effect, it is removed away from the game for 2 of your standby phase and then sent to your graveyard after that. Dave Frostskies: Since when was that in the graveyard.. Don't tell me...

Dave had a flashback of the previous turn's event. Where he pictured Juten activating [Rising Energy] and discarding [Flamebell Serpent] as a cost to activate the trap card's effect. And Dave smiled.

Dave Frostskies: So that is when.. Hmph. Not bad Juten.

Yuki Juten: I then remove away from the game. Flamebell Dragunov in my graveyard! To special summon out Flamebell Dragon - Nova!

This card can be special summoned from your hand by removing 1 [Flamebell Dragunov] in your graveyard away from the game. By using this effect, when this card is sent to the graveyard for a Syncro Summon. Inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's lifepoints. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's lifepoints.

A dragon like monster similiar to Dragunov just alot bigger, rised from the flames encircling Juten. And flew down onto the arena.

Yuki Juten: Alright! This is my resolve! Flamebell Dragon - Nova and Flamebell Serpent Tuning!

Shrouded by the Flames of Friendship! The Hero is once again called upon! SYNCRO SUMMON! FLAMEBELL URQUIZAS!

Urquizas once again came down onto the arena in a meteor like form. Which he exploded and out from the smoke he appeared.

Yuki Juten: I then activate Flamebell Dragon - Nova's effect! When this card is used for a syncro summon and sent to the graveyard. I will then inflict 500 points of damage to my opponent's lifepoints. And as for Flamebell Serpent, it will be removed away from the game for 2 turns!

Dave was then hit by incoming fireballs that was shot by Nova. He then had his lifepoints reduced from 6800 to 6300.

Yuki Juten: Lets go! Urquizas! Attack Blizzd-Guard of the Ice Boundary! FLAMING FISTS OF FLAMEBELL!

Urquizas powered up the flames on his arms. Making it bigger, and then ran towards Blizzd. With one punch of Urquizas. Blizzd was destroyed!

Yuki Juten: And Dave, due to Urquizas' effect, when he attacks a defense position monster and his attack is higher than the defence of the defense position monster. I will then inflict the different as battle damage to your lifepoints!

Dave Frostskies: Not so fast Juten. Trap card activate! Ice Boundary Barrier! In this turn, all battle done to me will be halved. And the monster that dealt battle damage to me, the attack strength, will be dealt to the opponent's lifepoints!

In that short time, Dave had his lifepoints reduced to 5750 and he drew one card from his deck by Blizzd's effect. And Juten recieved a full 2100 damage by Ice Boundary Barrier's effect! (8000-5900). Which then Dave special summoned another Blizzd from his deck by Ice Boundary Wall's effect.

Yuki Juten: Heh, Not bad Dave. But due to Flamebell Urquizas' effect, whenever it does battle damage to the opponent's lifepoints. It will increase its attack by 300 points! Urquizas' attack is now 2400 points!

Dave Frostskies: You too Juten. Hmph. *smiles*

Yuki Juten: I then set 2 reverse cards and end my turn! *huff-puff* Your turn Dave!

Dave Frostskies: My turn. Draw. I release Blizzd-Guard of the Ice Boundary. Advance summon, Royal Knight of the Ice Boundary!

When this card is successfully Advanced Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Ice Coffin Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/1/1000 ATK/0 DEF) in Attack Position. This Token cannot be Released for an Advanced Summon.

An Iceberg emerged from the arena and splitted into a million pieces. Which out of it emerged the Royal Knight. With its golden-white armor and its magnificent spear. It looks almost like a legendary knight to magnifest your eyes with.

Dave Frostskies: I then activate Royal Knight's effect. When this card is sucessfully Advanced Summoned, I will have to special summon one [Ice Coffin] token onto my side of the field in attack position. And the token cannot be released for an advanced summoned. Come on! Follower of the Royal Knight!

Yuki Juten: But your Royal Knight will still not be able to defeat My Urquizas! (But I guess that he has something big up his sleeve)

Dave Frostskies: Magic card activate. Wave of The Ice Boundary. This card releases one Water Attribute monster on my side of the field to activate. In this turn. All of the opponent's set magic or trap cards cannot be activated! Hmph. I release the [Ice Coffin Token]!

Yuki Juten: (I knew it!) Oh noes!

Dave Frostskies: And then I activate the effect of Ice Boundary Walls. For each [Ice Boundary] monster in my graveyard, I am able to increase the attack of one Water Attribute monster on my side of the field by 300 points for each of it. I select Royal Knight Of The Ice Boundary as the target! And since there is two Blizzd-Guard of the Ice Boundary in my graveyard. I will then increase Royal Knight's attack by 600 points! (2000-2600) Attack! Destroy Flamebell Urquizas!

Royal Knight of the Ice Boundary than rushed head on with his magnificent golden-white spear and stabbed Urquizas. Which then Urquizas became frozen by the spear's powers and then exploded. And Juten recieved 200 points of damage.(5900-5700)

Yuki Juten: Argh! Urquizas!

Dave Frostskies: I set one reverse card and end my turn.

Masato: Juten! Do not flinch! You can do it!

Yuki Juten: Yea! My turn! Draw!

Dave then looked at all of Juten's pals and then thought to himself.

Dave Frostskies: (Are they.... Supporting him..?)

Yuki Juten: There isn't anything I am able to do in this turn. I end my turn Dave!

Dave Frostskies: My turn. Draw. Royal Knight. Direct attack to Juten!

Yuki Juten: Trap card. Activate! Flamebell's Volcanic Barrier! By removing one [Flamebell] monster in my grave away from the game, All damage done to me in this turn will be 0! And during my next standby phase. I am able to special summon one [Flamebell] monster in my grave to my side of the field by paying 1000 lifepoints!

Dave Frostskies: Hmph. That is fine by me. I set one reverse card and end my turn.

Yuki Juten: My turn! Alright! During my Standby phase, I will pay 1000 lifepoints to special summon back.(5700-4700) My all time favourite monster! FLAMEBELL URQUIZAS!

Red hot flames burst from the ground and then igniting everything around it. Creating a circle for Urquizas to emerge from the ground. He gave a powerful roar.

Yuki Juten: I then activate equipment magic card! Flamebell Sword! This card will be equipped onto Urquizas to give him a boost of 1000 attack points!

Urquizas summoned the devilish blade from the skies and grab hold of it. Which the flames on his arm ignited the sword as well. And increasing his attack to 3100 points.

Yuki Juten: Go! Urquizas! Destroy Royal Knight of the Ice Boundary! Raging Slash of Flamebell!

Dave Frostskies: Trap card. Reinforced Frost Of The Ice Boundary. Activate by selecting one monster on my side of the field. The selected monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. And the amount of damage that I recieved from the attack, I am able to special summon one [Ice Boundary] monster from my deck. Equal or lesser than the amount of damage that I've recieved! I will recieve a total of 1100 points of damage!(5750-4650) And I special summon. Apprentice Summoner of the Ice Boundary in face-up defense position!

A cute little girl came out from a small iceberg and looked really scared. It took shelter under Royal Knight. And smiled at Juten.

Yuki Juten:Urquizas' attack increases to 3400 points by its effect! I set one card and that is all for my turn Dave! Lets see what you got!

Dave Frostskies: My turn. Draw. Lets go Juten. I'm going to show you your worst nightmare. Royal Knight and Apprentice Summoner of the Ice Boundary! Tuning! This is your last turn Juten!

Yuki Juten: Throw at me everything You've got Dave!

Dave Frostskies: (He isn't as afraid as the last duel... He has changed. Hmph but this will not change the fact that he will lose again!)

Frozen For A Millenium, Its Time To Awaken! SYNCRO SUMMON! Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary!

Brionac once again flew down onto the arena, hovering above Dave and gave a great roar. Looking down onto Juten and Urquizas. It gave another chilling roar. As if telling Juten and Urquizas that this is their last turn. Dave searched his deck for Curse of the Frost by Apprentice Summoner's effect.

Dave Frostskies: I activate the effect of Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary! I discard one card from my hand and I select Flamebell Sword as a target! This is a goner for you Yuki Juten!

Yuki Juten: Not so fast! This is a card that was given to me by Masato. I pay 1000 lifepoints! Continuous trap! Activate! SKILL DRAIN! As long as this card is face-up on the field. All effect monsters will have their effects negated! And Brionac's effect is negated! So is my Urquizas! It has its attack decreased back to 3100 points! And in this turn. Brionac will have to attack Urquizas due to Flamebell Sword's effect!

Dave Frostskies: Hehehe... HAHAHAHAHA! Do you think that was all Juten?! I activate from my hand! Curse of The Frost, Memories of the Frost! These 2 magic cards will be able to power up Brionac to its extreme potential!

Brionac gave another raging roar and increased its attack first by Memories of The frost. By removing Royal Knight. It has its attack increased to 4300 points. And by Curse of the Frost's effect. Brionac has its attack strength increased to 8600 points!

Dave Frostskies: This is it Juten! I admire you being able to play till so far with your new cards. But you still won't be able to defeat me.

Yuki Juten: You will be defeated Dave. It is true that playing duel monsters has an important meaning. But it doesn't mean that all fun about it should be deprived from you!

Dave Frostskies: Silence! I used to have fun in duel monsters! Which made me lose something very important! YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING JUTEN! ARRRRGGGGHHH! ATTACK! BRIONAC! DISINTERGRATING BLAST OF THE ICE BOUNDARY! No... I have to force you to know. The pain I've suffered! TRAP CARD ACTIVATE! FROST GOD'S JUDGMENT! During the turn that my [Ice Boundary] monster battled an opponent's monster. Increase the attack of my [Ice Boundary] monster by the monster that its Battling. Brionac's attack will be increased by another 3100 points! (8600+3100=11700) THIS IS IT! YUKI JUTEN!

Yuki Juten: He's gone out of control! Looks like this is no choice! This is my call Dave! Trap card activate! Flame God's Judgment! During the turn that my [Flamebell] monster battle an opponent's monster, increase the attack by the attack of the opponent's monster! Flamebell Urquizas! GO FOR IT!(3100+11700=14800) ULTIMATE INFERNO SLASH OF FLAMEBELL!

Brionac shoot a extremely powerful ice blast at Urquizas. But Urquizas dodge it by jumping high above the path of ice. And then holding the Flamebell Sword with two hands. It further ignited the Sword into an extremely large fire blade. And slashed Brionac into 2 with it. Dave recieved a total of 3100 damage from that counterattack.

Dave Frostskies: No... Brionac!

Yuki Juten: Realize the fun and the importance of dueling again Dave! This is for you! COUNTER TRAP CARD! ACTIVATE! BACKDRAFT! During the turn that my Fire attribute monster dealt damage to the opponent's lifepoints. I am able to deal damage again equal to the current attack of the monster that dealt damage to you! Rush for it again Urquizas! Melt the cold inside Dave's heart!

Dave Frostskies: NO! IT CAN'T BE!

In this instance, Dave suddenly had flashbacks of when he was a kid. He saw himself and a small girl playing duel monsters on the floor. With tons of laughter and smiles. The girl looked alot like Dave. But has longer blond hair than he himself. Tears rolled down his face as he recieved the slash by Urquizas. And his lifepoints dropped to 0. He fell from the arena. Unconscious.

Yuki Juten: Dave!

And everyone rushed towards Dave to help him up......

Turn 3 : See the Truth in Dueling! Yuki Juten!

During the last episode, our hero got blasted off the Frostskies' arena by [Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary ]! And fell unconscious, which his good friend, Amano Gouda went to help him. But was still unable to wake Juten up. With Dave Frostskies smiling down upon our hero! What will happen to him! Lets duel! Turn 3!

Dave Frostskies: Direct attack! Disintegrating Blast of the Ice Boundary!

Yuki Juten: Argh!!!!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Juten woke up from the bad dream of being defeated by Dave Frostskies, he cuddled himself on his bed. And trembling from the dream that he had, turned around and looked at his alarm clock. It was only 4am then. Then he remembered vaguely that he had been brought home by Gouda after he fell from the Frostskies' arena. And then Juten sat up, looked at his study table. He was quite happy when he saw his duel disk and his deck right on it. He walked up to his study table and picked up his deck. Which then he took out [Flamebell Urquizas] and looked at it.

Yuki Juten: I'm sorry Urquizas, I didn't have the power to fully unleash your potential...

Which then Juten stared into the night sky from his room's window. Holding on to his [Flamebell Urquizas] while doing so. And asking himself this..

Yuki Juten: Urquizas... Am I still worthy as the owner of this deck? Where have I gone wrong?

Am I really a failure...?

Juten continued staring into the night sky and went to bed shortly after that.

Juten skipped school on the next day, still unable to accept the fact that he lost to Dave Frostskies. He was in bed for the whole afternoon until Masato and Gouda paid him a visit.

*knock knock*

Juten's Mother: Yes yes! I'm coming! Well hello Gouda! And you are.?

Masato: Hi ma'am, my name is Shinozaki Masato. Juten's classmate. Please to meet you.

Juten's Mother: Ah.. I see! Well you're welcomed here anytime! Juten is just upstairs inside his room. Juten!!! You have visitors!

Upon walking up the staircase towards Juten's room, Masato saw a card being sealed tightly inside a glass casing. He walked up towards the card, however was unable to decipher what card it was. Since it was badly covered by dirt, but Masato can only figure out one point.

It was a Syncro Monster due to its white background.

*knock knock*

Yuki Juten: Come in...

Gouda: Hey Juten! How are you feeling today!

Yuki Juten: Not so good, or else I would have been in school already...... Ma....sato?!

Masato: Good day Juten. I heard about your match with Dave from Gouda. As I expected, you weren't able to defeat a true clan deck user with your current strength.

Yuki Juten: You don't have to repeat the incident Masato. I did not defeat him, thus I'm not strong enough to be a member of your team.

Gouda: Juten...

Masato: Haha... Resignation not accepted! You are still in my team Juten!

Yuki Juten: But why..?

Masato: The battle with Dave was for you to know what you lacked in dueling. Have you found that out yet? Juten?

Yuki Juten: Dave told me that... I was a failure, I did not understand the importance of dueling.

?????: Then find it out Juten!

Yuki Juten: Who the.... ?! A... A..... A..... AKANE!

Akane: Hi ya Juten! You weren't in school today, So I thought that I might visit you. ^_^

And Juten looked infatuated with Akane. With Gouda and Masato's head looking down.

Gouda & Masato: He...... is doomed... =_="

Yuki Juten: Hehe.... STRIKE!

*bang*

Juten was being pummelled by Akane!

Akane: What are you so infatuated about huh Juten?! Pay attention to me when I'm talking!

Both Masato and Gouda looked extremely Stunned.

Masato & Gouda: Okay... He is really doomed. No doubt about it.

Yuki Juten: Who is doomed huh?!

Everyone: GYAAAAAAAAAA!

And all of them had a big pillow fight in Juten's room! With much fun, it died down after an hour or so.

Masato: Hahaha, that was great fun!

Gouda: Yeah! Its been awhile since we had fun Juten! Uh Juten..?

Masato: He is back to infatuation. =_="

*bang*

Akane: Stop being infatuated with something that is not there Juten!

Yuki Juten: It was only a joke okay? Haha.. Yes Gouda, its been awhile since we had such fun. Not dueling too...

Akane: So have you found out what you were missing?

Yuki Juten: I think what I am missing, is the real reason for me to duel. Dave was right, Duel monsters ain't just some card game to have fun about. He treats it as though as it is the world to him. For me, I wanna be able to have fun with all of you people here! Duel monsters really ain't just a card game. I can use my cards to protect everyone here. Just like what Yuki Judai did in the past! I've clean forgotten about it once! But I will not again! I've finally found a reason to duel!

Which Juten remembered his duel with Dave again. And thinking about Dave's cold expressions.

Masato: I see Juten. There! I knew you can do it. You've found a good reason to duel on.

Yuki Juten: Which I want to use this reason, to duel Dave again! He is a cold person, I would really wanna help him get out of his cold front!

Akane: You can do it Juten! I believe in you! =D

Masato: (Furido Akane, Juten might not know who you actually are... But I surely do... Heh..)

Gouda: Go for it Juten!

Yuki Juten: Yeah!!!!

*stomach rumbling*

Yuki Juten: I'm hungry.

Everyone: .....................................................

Juten's Mother: Okay kids! Its time for dinner! Come on down!

Everyone: OKAY!

Everyone headed down to the dining table from Juten's room to enjoy a sumptous feast by Juten's Mother. While they were all digging into the food...

Yuki Juten: Ahhhh... I think its time for me to continue modifying my deck! I'll need to face again Dave sooner or later. Because I promised you, Masato. That I will recruit him into our team for the Holy War Cup!

Masato: Thats the spirit!

Yuki Juten: Alright! Now where is my... HEY WAIT! MY DECK IS GONE!

Juten's Mother: Haha... Here son. Your deck is here. I've modified it for you. This is your new Flamebell deck.

Yuki Juten took the deck from his mother's palm. And had a good look at it. Which he in turn, became very surprised.

Yuki Juten: What is all of these... There are extremely new cards that I've never seen before! And... They are extremely powerful! What is all of these Mum?!

Juten's Mother: These are cards that are originally inside the Flamebell deck. I took them out because you hadn't seen the true meaning of dueling yet. But when you finally realized it. I will then give it back to you.

Yuki Juten: But how did you know that... I realized it?

Juten's Mother: The walls are not sound proof you know. I can easily overheard everything.

Everyone: ....... DRATS!

Yuki Juten: Anyway.... This was a surprise mum... Thanks alot! I'll use these newly found cards to try and defeat Dave once again! No.. Not try to.. I will defeat him! And show him my true meaning of a duel!

Akane then went behind Juten and gave him a pat on his shoulders. Whispering into his ears this.

Akane: You can do it Juten! =D

Yuki Juten: Thanks Akane!

After dinner, the gang went up to Juten's room and helped him again with the modification of his deck. And in the next day. After lessons, the whole gang went to the Frostskies' Residence. And once again, Juten knocked on the large door. And was greeted by Dave's Butler.

Dave Frostskies: I was expecting you. Yuki Juten. Hmph..

Yuki Juten: Right on Dave! Lets finish what we started!

And the gang cheered for Juten.

Turn 2 : Beginning! Wake Up! Yuki Juten!

In the last episode... A duelist called "Masato" challenged our hero Juten to a duel. Which Juten won by Syncro Summoning his ace card [Flamebell Urquizas]! But Masato mentioned that he will be back soon to visit Juten again. And talking about recgonising Juten's full strength too! Just what is this Masato guy talking about? We'll find out soon enough! Turn 2! Lets duel!

After the duel with Masato, it was then another day for Juten. Normal school lessons and having duels at the underground facility after lessons. Then returning home was the normal cycle for Juten. He was actually getting a little quite bored from all these normal cycles of life until one day in school.... During the beginning of one of his lessons, his principal entered his classroom and brought in a new student.

Principal Satsuma: Eh hem! Good morning class. We have a new transfer student today from the East Domino Highschool. Here he is! Lets give him a warm welcome!

The whole class was applauding for the new comer... Little did Juten know that the new comer was none other than...

Masato: Good morning! I'm Masato, a transfer student from East Domino Highschool. Please to meet you all.

Yuki Juten & Gouda: WHAT THE?!

Principal Satsuma: Well it seems that this was a great welcoming applaud for Masato. I hope that you all can guide him well as a good classmate. And may you all have joy in learning together!

Masato: I hope to learn from everyone! Thanking all of you in advance!

Yuki Juten: I've got a bad feeling about this creep coming into our class.. And also about the things he said the last time...

Gouda: I'm thinking the same too Juten! Lets watch out for him! EEks!

Masato: Watch out for who? ^_^

Masato set in an empty seat just right behind Juten and Gouda. In quite a "peaceful" manner.

Yuki Juten: What are you doing here for.... Masato?

Masato: Well how about this, lets talk after lesson ends! At the underground facility.

Yuki Juten: Great! I can't wait! (lets hope that he does not have any tricks up his sleeves!)

After lessons ended, Juten and Gouda went to the underground facility to meet up with Masato.
With their decks and duel disks equipped on.

Yuki Juten: I don't know what does he have to say, but I'm ready to thrash him again!

Gouda: You go for it Juten!

Juten and Gouda both saw Masato standing in the centre arena(remembered when I said that there were 3 arenas in the last episode?). And no one else was around except for them.

Gouda: Its... unusually quiet.

Masato: I've seen you came, Yuki Juten. Flamebell Deck User.

Yuki Juten: Flamebell Deck User? What do you mean Masato?

Masato: Why don't the both of you come up first, we can talk better with our distance closer.

The both of them jumped up onto the arena and "confronted" Masato.

Masato: Now, I would like to apologise for the rudeness the last time, both Juten and Gouda. Will you two accept my apologies? I have my reasons for that. Or rather, will you hear me out before thinking if you want to forgive me later?.

Gouda: Fair enough... I don't mind.

Yuki Juten: Okay, then start with it!

Masato: I was trying to test your strength of controlling your Flamebell deck. It was quite impressive.

Yuki Juten: And? What is the goal of you testing my strength?

Masato: I'm trying to gather members for a team, to participate in the Holy War Cup.

Yuki Juten: Holy War Cup?! Ain't that the championships for all of the duelists?! Only the strongest players are able to compete in that!

Masato: Yes Juten. Thats right. And I've chosen you to be one of my members. Plus there is another secret that I would like to share with you as well.

Yuki Juten & Gouda: SECRET?! What secret?

Masato: After the creation of Duel Monsters by Maximillion Pegasus. There are "sealed" clan cards hidden. And given only to the chosen families, that has the power in their blood. To use the deck of the different clans.

Yuki Juten: Clans? You mean like my Flamebell Deck? But aren't these just normal cards that I use for my duels? How can they be such... legends?

Masato: Then can you remember on how you got them?

Yuki Juten: It was given to me by my.... grandfather... Argh... My head hurts, though I know I have a grandfather... I don't remember his name, and his looks too...

Masato: Thats it, you were chosen to use your Flamebell Deck. And just like you Juten, I myself have a "Clan" deck too. Its the [X-Saber] deck that was passed to me by my grandparents.

Yuki Juten: Then why didn't you use it to fight against me?! You were actually looking down on me all these while?! Am I right?!

Masato shook his head for a moment.

Masato: I'm sorry Juten. At that level of strength that you are in now, you will not be able to beat me and my [X-Saber] deck. I'm not looking down on you Juten, but thats the truth.

Yuki Juten: Oh Yea?! You'll be thrashed by me!

Masato: You will never be able to defeat me with that attitude of yours too.

Yuki Juten: What?! Why you....

Masato: If you think you can beat me, why don't you try recruiting a member for our team? If you can recruit the person that I ask for. I will accept your challenge to a duel.

Yuki Juten: Hmph! I'll show you that I will be thrashing you around when I return!

Masato: Heh... Then why don't you try looking for the user of the [Ice Boundary] deck? His name is Dave Frostskies.

Yuki Juten: Frostskies?! Ain't that the rich kid from America...? Fine! I'll recruit him! Just you see!

And Juten went out of the Facility, rushing towards the Frostskies' residence. With Gouda following behind him.

The Frostskies' residence is actually the largest mansion built in all of Domino City. In asides in the City's outskirts. Thus not many people visit it time to time. Its residents. being only Dave Frostskies and his butler. And Dave Frostskies also attends the same school as Yuki Juten.

Juten then arrived infront of the large mansion. Shocked at its large appearances as it was Juten's first time visit to this large mansion. But , upon realizing his goal of going there. He rang upon the doorbell of the mansion door. And the person opening the door was none other than Dave Frostskies' Butler.

Butler: Can I help you sir?

Yuki Juten: I've come to look for Dave Frostskies! Is he around?!

Butler: Are you accquaintances of Mr Dave? If you are not, I humbly request you to leave.

Yuki Juten: Heh! Is he scared to meet this town's number one duelist Yuki Juten-sama?! I've come to duel him too! He and his [Ice Boundary] deck!

Butler: ?!

??????: Hmph...

Gouda: Oh my...

Yuki Juten: So there you are?!

Dave Frostskies: You must have great guts, knowing about the [Ice Boundary] clan deck that was entrusted upon the Frostskies family. And challenging it to a duel. You must be an ignorant duelist. Fine, I accept your challenge. For you will know punishment later.

Yuki Juten: Come on then!

Upon saying that, Juten and Gouda followed the Butler and Dave Frostskies to the hall of the mansion. Which then the butler pressed upon a switch. And the mansion had a dueling arena rising from its grounds.

Gouda: Go for it! Juten!

Yuki Juten & Dave Frostskies: DUEL!

Yuki Juten's Hand: Flambell paun, Fox Fire, Flambell Sword, Immediate Attention and Megamorph.

Dave Frostskies' Hand: Blizzard Warrior , Practitioner of the Ice Boundary , Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary, Crystal Seer and Induced Summon.

Dave Frostskies: This will be over real quickly.. Its my turn. Draw.

Dave drew upon Ice Boundary Shield.

Dave Frostskies: I set one monster in face down defense position, I set one reverse card and end my turn.

Yuki Juten: Its my turn! DRAW! (this guy feels weird.. He is kinda cold... Like he doesn't have any feelings at all..)

The monkey-like monster appeared again in defense position. With its fangs extended out. Looking as though it is in a rage.

Dave Frostskies: Draw.

Dave drew Ice Boundary Walls.

Dave Frostskies: I activate magic card. [Ice Boundary Walls], this magic card allows me to increase the attack of one Water Attribute monster on my side of the field in my next turn's mainphase for each [Ice Boundary] in my graveyard times 300 points. And before the end of the next turn, if I have an [Ice Boundary] monster that is destroyed by battle. I can special summon an exact copy of it from my deck. I then summon Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary in face up defense position. I set one more reverse card and end my turn.

A beautiful eagle in blue feathers flew from the skies and landed. Shielding Dave with its great wings.

Juten drew upon Flamebell Dragunov. He summoned it in attack position and used it to declare an attack against Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary. Which it exploded and due to its effect, Dave is able to draw one card from his deck. Dave drew Curse of the Frost. And he smiled schemingly. Dave summoned another Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary in defense position from his deck by [Ice Boundary Wall]'s effect. Juten set one card and ended his turn.

Dave Frostskies: Draw.

Dave drew Memories of the Frost.

Yuki Juten: You are cold, Dave.

Dave Frostskies: And what if I am?

Yuki Juten: You should be enjoying this duel! Not putting on such a cold front!

Dave Frostskies: Only a fool like you will take upon the Duel Monsters as just a simple and enjoyable card game. You will never understand the importance of dueling.

Yuki Juten: What?! Come again! I'll teach you!

Dave Frostskies: You will not have a chance. I summon Blizzard Warrior in attack position! And I activate the effect of [Ice Boundary Wall] , until the end of this turn, for each [Ice Boundary] monster in my graveyard, I will be able to increase one of my water attribute monster's attack points by 300 for each of it in the graveyard. I switch Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary into attack position. Battle!

Dave sent Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary to attack Flamebell Dragunov, and as a result of that. Dave took 800 damage(8000-7200) and drew Heavy Storm. Blizzard Warrior also had its attack increased by 600 points. (1400 +600 = 2000) And Dave used it to attack Flamebell Dragunov. The fiery dragon exploded in flames, and Dave took 500 damage from Dragunov's effect(7200-6700). And Juten took 900 points of damage!(8000-7100). Due to [Ice Boundary Wall]'s effect, Dave summoned another Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary. And he used the blue bird to attack Flamebell Paun. Juten then searched for Frembell Magical from his deck and added it into his hand.

Dave Frostskies: Tell me, Juten. Why do you duel?

Yuki Juten: Ain't it obvious?! To have fun! And to be the best in it!

Dave Frostskies: Fool.

Yuki Juten: What?!

Dave Frostskies: You must have been wrongly chosen as the user of your Flamebell Deck. I pity the people that chose you. For you are a failure.

Yuki Juten: Grrrrrr...arrrrggh! My turn! DRAW!

Juten drew upon Double Summon.

Yuki Juten: I summon [Fox Fire]! In attack position! And then I activate the magic card [Double Summon]! This magic card allows me to normal summon one more monster from my hand! I summon! Tuner monster! Frembell Magical in attack position! Here we go!

Enduring the flames of the Blazing Star! A New Hero Emerges! SYNCRO SUMMON! FLAMEBELL URQUIZAS!

And Urquizas stood still, with the flames growing bigger on its arms at every second.

Dave Frostskies: Trap card activate. Induced Summon. Both players can now special summon from their hands, a level 4 and below monster. I special summon tuner monster, Practitioner of the Ice Boundary in defense position! With its effect, as long I control an [Ice Boundary] monster. All monsters with level 4 and above will not be able to declare an attack.

Yuki Juten: Thats fine by me! I do not have a level 4 and below to special summon to my field due to [Induced Summon]'s effect. I activate equipment magic! Flamebell Sword! To be equipped onto Urquizas!

Dave drew Giant Trunade.

Dave Frostskies: Watch Juten. The difference between you and me. Is infinite. reverse summon, [Crystal Seer]! This monster allows me to look at the top 2 cards of my deck. Which I select one of it and add it to my hand. And the other one will be sent to the bottom of the deck. I select this card [Frost God's Judgement] and..... Practitioner of the Ice Boundary , Blizzard Warrior and Blizzd, Guard of the Ice Boundary tuning!

Frozen For A Millenium, Its Time To Awaken! SYNCRO SUMMON! Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary!

A huge crystal like dragon appeared and hovered above Dave. Giving a magnificent roar that causes the cold winds to blow hard around the arena.

Dave Frostskies: Still not repenting, hmph... Very well then. I activate Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary's special effect! By discarding any amount of cards from my hand. I am able to send, from the field, equal to the amount of cards back to the owners hand by the cards that I have discarded. I discard 2 cards! I return both [Flamebell Sword] and your face-down set card back to your hand. And due to [Flamebell Sword]'s effect, when this card is removed from your field, all cards on your side of the field will have to be destroyed!

Yuki Juten: No way! Urquizas! Argh!

Flambell Urquizas was eaten up by devilish flames that emerged from the ground.

Dave Frostskies: I then activate magic card, [Curse of the Frost]! This card allows me to increase the attack of one [Ice Boundary] monster on my side of the field by its current attack points till this turn's endphase. Which means doubling it! But, in this turn, I have to take damage equal to the current attack of the monster which I have selected. And the selected monster will have its attack points halved for the next turn. Thus I select Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary!

Brionac has its attack increased by 2300 points! (2300-4600) and it gave another magnificent roar. Chilling everyone in the arena even more.

Dave Frostskies: Brionac! Direct attack! Disintergrating blast of the Ice Boundary!

Yuki Juten: Ahhhh!!!!!

And Juten has his life decreased by 4600 points(7100-4600=2500). And Dave set one card. ending his turn with 4600 damage to his lifepoints(6700-4600=2100)

Yuki Juten: My... Turn! DRAW!

Juten drew upon Monster Reborn.

Yuki Juten: Oh right! Magic Card activate! Monster Reborn! This card allows me to revive one monster from either player's graveyard! The monster that I'm reviving is none other than... FLAMEBELL URQUIZAS!

Hot flames rised from the ground. Melting the cold ice around the area. And then stomping on the ground. Giving a stern look at Dave.

Yuki Juten: Once again! Magic card! [Flamebell Sword]! Equipped onto [Flamebell Urquizas]!

And Flamebell Urquizas has its attack increased to 3100 points again!

Yuki Juten: Attack! FLAMING FISTS OF FLAMEBELL! DESTROY BRIONAC!

Urquizas rushed towards Brionac. But...

Dave Frostskies: Trap card, Ice Boundary Shield. By paying half of my lifepoints. I can protect one [Ice Boundary] monster from being destroyed in this turn. And all damage done to me is 0.

Yuki Juten: No way....

Dave Frostskies: (Its still too early for him to face the wrath of that trap card. Hmph.. I'll just finish him then.) My turn, draw. I activate Brionac's effect to discard one card from my hand. And I'll select [Flamebell Sword] as a target to be returned to your hand. And again... Your field is done for. I then activate magic card. Memories of the Frost! This card allows me to remove from play one Water attribute monster from my graveyard away from the game. And then allowing me to increase one [Ice Boundary] monster on my side of the field the attack, equal to the monster that I've removed away from the game. You are done for, Juten. I remove Blizzard Warrior away from the game!

Brionac then had its attack increased by 1400 points! (2300+1400=3700).

Dave Frostskies: Time to go. Brionac! Direct Attack to Juten! Disintergrating blast of the Ice Boundary!

Yuki Juten: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Juten has his lifepoints down to 0. He fell from the arena, unconcsious. And Gouda rushed to his aid.

Turn 1 : SYNCRO SUMMON! Flaming Crusader! Flamebell Urquizas!

Now okay guys! This is the first "episode" of my fanfic! So just seat back and enjoy! There isn't much broken-ness inside here I think? However there are cards from the old anime and from the comic that are inside the characters' decks. So I think you guys should be a little familiar with the effects! Okay lets get the first turn started!

--------------------------Turn 1--------------------------

This story is about the adventures of 17 year old duelist Yuki Juten (遊城 - 十天) which is studying in one of the high schools in Domino City. Inspired by the previous successful duelists like Mutou Yugi , Yuki Judai and Fudo Yusei. He strives his best to be the best duelist, but this boy's bad side is that he is quite arrogant. So what will happen? Lets get it on! Duel!

Mutou Yugi : I set one card and end my turn. Its your turn Juten-kun

Yuki Juten: Oh right! Be able to duel with the Duel King Mutou Yugi is no joke! But too bad Yugi-san! I'm going to thrash you into a pulp! SYNCRO SUMMO........ OUCH!

An alarm clock fell onto Juten's face, from which that he woken up. And he had to admit to himself that it was all a dream and it wasn't real at all.

Yuki Juten: Damn! Just when I was so close onto defeating the legendary duelist!

*knock knock*

Entering the room was Juten's mother. A beautiful woman with long red hair. But.. Has a bad temper to boast about when Juten is always late for school. She entered a room with a smile but then threw a frying pan to Juten's Face!

Yuki Juten: EH?!?! MUM?!?! TIME TO DODGE!

Juten's Mother: I'm afraid not! *and she threw another frying pan into the direction that Juten was running to*

*BANG*

After getting the pain from the frying pan. Juten had no choice but to rush himself into getting ready for school. Due to the fear of not wanting to incur his mother's terrible wrath again. He rushed out of his house and taking with him, his school bag, his bento for breakfast and lunch... And... His Deck and Duel Disk.

By the way, did I mention at the start that the highschool that Juten was going is not a normal Highschool? If I didn't, then hear me well! The highschool that Juten is attending is somewhat like the Duel Academy in [Yu-Gi-Oh! GX] . But this is just a little different. Its a school which people from all ages can learn dueling. And normal classes such as maths, science classes(just to name a few) are also conducted normally here. And oh! It also has strict punishments for students that are late for school. ^_^

And you've guessed right. Juten was late for school and was caught by the discipline mistress!

Discipline Mistress: Mr Yuki Juten! May I know what valid reason do you have for being late for school?!

Yuki Juten: Well uh.... Its kinda that I ah.... ah.......

Discipline Mistress: No excuses eh? Well see me after school for detention! And I shall confiscate your deck and your duel disk for today. You'd better see me after school if you want them back!

Yuki Juten: Yes ma'am... *sighs*

And Juten got his duel disk and his deck taken away from him unwillingly. Not given any chance to explain himself properly as well. Oh well that is what happens when you are late in such a "normal" school. Lets carry on then.

During Recess Time....

??????? : Hey! Juten!

Yuki Juten: Uh...? Hey! Gouda!

Gouda: Looks like your Duel Disk and Deck were confiscated by the Discipline Mistress huh?

Yuki Juten: You don't really have to rub it in you know? I'm dying to have a duel now! But my deck isn't with me! Its like.. MY LIFE IS FINISHED! AH!!!

Gouda: Calm down! You will get your deck right after detention right? So why don't I meet you at the "usual" dueling place after that? We still have some time to duel.

Yuki Juten: Sweet! I was waiting for you to say that! Ready to get thrashed after school Gouda?!

Gouda: ..... I'll see you later Juten.

Inside Gouda's heart, he was feeling quite down because of the arrogant words that Juten has said to him. It is true that he hasn't been able to defeat Juten even once with his normal deck. But even so. He was thinking that what Juten has said was a little too harsh to him, even if it wasn't on purpose. But he felt better after taking a walk and getting back to class.

After the boring lessons of maths and science. Juten went on to visit the Discipline Mistress' office. And received a very boring lecture from her. But by enduring that, he was able to retrieve his deck and his duel disk. Which he then escaped the Discipline Mistress' office and headed to the "usual" dueling place.

The "usual" dueling place is actually an underground facility built by the school for the students or duelists to gather and duel. It has 3 huge dueling arenas so duelists would have to wait turn by turn to use the Dueling Arena.

When Juten reached the underground facility. He saw an unbearable sight. Gouda was being blasted away from one of the Dueling Arena by another duelist. He rushed to Gouda's aid to help him back up. But Gouda's lifepoints had already reached 0.

Gouda: Juten! I'm so glad that you are here! This creep here wanted to torture all of the kids here if there was no one to duel with him. Thats why I tried.. But I still lost.. I'm sorry Juten..

Yuki Juten: Hey don't be upset! Okay Gouda? You did your best! I guess its up to me now. So where is this creep...

??????: So.. Are you strong? The name is Masato. Hehe... *gives a scheming smile to Juten*

Yuki Juten: Masato eh? Well I'm going to pay you back for what you did to Gouda! Prepare to face your worst! And yes I'm strong! I even defeated the....

Juten thought back of when He defeated the legendary duelist Mutou Yugi. But later remembered that it was just only a dream.

Masta: Defeated what...?

Yuki Juten: Ah... Nevermind! Lets get this started! I'll throw you out for doing these atrocities!

Masato: Hehe.... HAHAHAHAHA! That is if you can!

Juten flared up, and jumped onto the Dueling Arena. Inserting his Deck into his Duel Disk and taking his stance....

Yuki Juten & Masato : DUEL!

Both duelists began the duel by having 5 cards in their hand.

Juten's Hand : Flamebell Paun, Firewall, Guard Of Flamebell , Burial From A Different Dimension and Backfire.

Masato's Hand: Giant Orc , Goblin Elite Attack Force, Goblin Attack Force, Robbin Zombie and Goblin Diversion Force.

Yuki Juten: I'll start the fight! Its my turn! Draw!

Juten drew upon UFO Turtle and smiled.

Yuki Juten: (Hehe.. My combo is already here! But I still don't know what kind of deck is this Masato guy using.. I'll defend for now then.) I Summon tuner monster! Guard Of Flamebell in defense position! I set one face down card and end my turn! (now lets see what tricks you have Masato!)

Masato drew upon Sakuretsu Armor.

Masato: I summon Goblin Elite Attack Force in attack position! And charge! Destroy the meddling dragon!

Yuki Juten: Reverse card.... OPEN! Backfire activate! Whenever my Fire attribute monsters are destroyed and sent to the graveyard, my opponent will recieve 500 points of damage to their lifepoints!

Goblin Elite Attack Force charged into Guard Of Flamebell's barrier. And slashing it into nothing-less.

Yuki Juten: Eventhough you have destroyed it, I still take no damage! And due to Backfire's effect, you will take 500 points of damage!

Masato was wrapped in a wall of fire. And his life points was reduced from 8000 to 7500.

Masato: Well... We'll see... hehe... I set one reverse card and end my turn!

Yuki Juten: Okay! My turn! DRAW!

Juten drew Destruction Jammer.

Yuki Juten: (From the appearances of Goblin Elite Attack Force, It would seem that his deck is a power deck. And Goblin Elite Attack Force has a high defense too. It looks like I have to defend further. Damn!) I summon Frembell Paun in defense position! And I set one more reverse card! My turn is finished.

A monkey-like monster sprouted from the flames and shielded Juten.

It was Masato's turn and he drew upon Fairy Meteor Crush. He summoned Goblin Diversion Force in attack position and activated Fairy Meteor Crush to be equipped onto Goblin Diversion Force.

Masato then declared an attack with Goblin Diversion Force onto Frembell Paun. Goblin Diversion Force had the upperhand of 1000 attack against the defense points of Flamebell Paun, which has only 200 defense. A difference of 800 points was dealt as battle damage to Juten's Lifepoints (8000-7200) due to Fairy Meteor Crush's effect, and Masato got to draw a card due to Goblin Diversion Force's effect. Masato drew upon Final Attack Orders and switched Goblin Diversion Force into defense position.

Yuki Juten: Huff Puff... I activate both Flamebell Paun and Backfire's effect! I search my deck for Flamebell Dragunov for Flamebell Paun's effect. And I deal 500 points of damage to your lifepoints because of Backfire!

Masato was once again wrapped in a wall of fire. Reducing his lifepoints to 7000. And Masato ended his turn. Juten began his turn again and drew upon Megamorph.

Yuki Juten: Alright! I summon Flamebell Dragunov in attack position! (I can't get rid of Goblin Elite Attack Force... So Lets at least get rid of one monster) Okay! Flamebell Dragunov! Attack Goblin Diversion Force!

A dragon flew from the flames and started to shoot fireballs at Goblin Diversion Force.

Masato: Hehe.. TRAP CARD OPEN! Sakuretsu Armor! This trap will be able to get rid of your attacking monster!

Yuki Juten: I discard Burial from a Different Dimension from my hand and activate Destruction Jammer! This card will be able to negate the effects of Sakuretsu Armor! Thus protecting my Flamebell Dragunov!

Flamebell Dragunov then destroyed Goblin Diversion Force. Juten set two reverse cards and ended his turn. Masato then drew upon Cyclone. He switched Goblin Elite Attack Force into attack position and summoned Goblin Attack Force. Goblin attack force has an attack of 2300. And Goblin Elite attack force has an attack of 2200. Masato declared an attack using Goblin Elite Attack Force upon Flamebell Dragunov. Juten took 1100 points of battle damage! (7200-6100)

Yuki Juten: I activate Flamebell Dragunov's and Backfire's Effect! You take a total of 1000 points of damage! (7000-6000) Huff puff... Looks like there is still Goblin Attack Force... But you can't penetrate my defenses!

Masato: Oh yeah? Direct attack!

Yuki Juten: Trap card! Firewall activate! By removing...

Masato: Quick-play magic card activate! CYCLONE! This card will be able to destroy one magic or trap card on the field.. Looks like your firewall is toasted!

Yuki Juten: Oh noes! ARGH!!!!

Juten took the direct attack and fell to the ground. His lifepoints was reduced from 6100 to 3800.

Masato: I set one card and end my turn... Hehe...Is that all you got? Looks like your deck ain't able to defeat me at all.. Such a weak deck! Masato switched both Goblin Attack Force and Goblin Elite Attack Force into defense positions due to their effects. And set one reverse card.

Yuki Juten: Huff puff.. It would seems that you hadn't been listening to Yugi-san's words... Always believe in the hearts of the cards! Its my turn! DRAW!

Juten drew upon Backdraft. I summon UFO turtle in defense position, I set one reverse card and end my turn!

Masato drew Dust Tornado. And activated his reverse card Final Attack Orders! All face-up monsters on the field will have to be converted into attack position!

Yuki Juten: Oh no! Both of his monsters are switched back into Attack Position! That includes my own UFO Turtle too!

Masato: Thats right boy... PREPARE TO DIE! ATTACK! MY GOBLIN TROOPS!

Goblin Elite Attack Force destroyed UFO Turtle and Juten activated its effect to summon out Fox Fire in attack position. Juten received 800 points of damage (3800-3000)

Fox fire was destroyed and Juten's lifepoints dropped drastically from 3000 to 1000. Is this the end for Juten? Its only the first episode! However Fox fire was revived onto Juten's field during the endphase.

Yuki Juten: Ugh.... I will not lose.. I believe in the heart of the cards! ITS MY TURN! DRAW!

Juten drew upon Flamebell Magical. And he smiled.

Yuki Juten: It came.

Masato: What came?

Yuki Juten: I summon! Tuner Monster! Flamebell Magical in attack position!

Flamebell Urquizas appeared as a meteor in the sky. And then exploded with red hot flames. And touching down onto the ground. Burning everything around it. It stood up and gave a roar.

Yuki Juten: I then activate Megamorph! And equip it onto Flamebell Urquizas!

Flamebell Urquizas then grew double of its original size due to Megamorph's effect. And has its attack increased to 4200 points. With the flames on its arm even bigger than before too!
